Paul Antczak

A master fur trapper, Paul Antczak had already been perfecting his craft for nearly forty years by the time he settled in the Salish Mountains of Northwest Montana. There he quickly made a name for himself as one of the top trappers in the state, even earning the friendship and respect of veteran Mountain Man, Tom Oar. Paul makes his living by managing predators for the nearby ranches, running traplines that are dozens of miles long in every terrain imaginable, and concocting baits and lures that he sells to other trappers throughout the country. After several years of saving, Paul bought his own plot of land deep in the mountains, surrounded by National Forest. With the help of his son, Chance, he’s working relentlessly to carve out an off-grid homestead from scratch, and doing whatever it takes to survive in the mountains.
