Bret Bohn and Ivy O’Guinn

The recently married dynamic duo, Bret Bohn and Ivy O’Guinn are an Alaska outdoor power couple. Both born and raised in Alaska, Bret is an elite hunting guide and trapper who built himself a cabin in the bush when he was just a teenager. Ivy is an Alaska Native fisherman and taxidermist who grew up on the shores of Bristol Bay and the Kenai Peninsula. Together they spend their winters living in Bret’s Alaska Range cabin, just south of Denali. There they live off the land and run a trapline that winds through hundreds of miles of wild country buried in snow and ice. In the summers, they travel to the tiny coastal village of Egegik, where Ivy has worked as a commercial fisherman her entire life, a trade she learned from her mother and grandmother. Both Bret and Ivy are still learning how to operate in each other’s worlds, but they’re always up for a challenge and adventure in the wild, and Alaska always has plenty of both to offer.
