Nemo Gould
Maker: Episode 2Nemo Gould is our esoteric and philosophizing builder. It’s no wonder he was raised by hippies and went to Berkeley. With a passion for salvaging discarded objects and materials, Nemo brings “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” to a whole new level. When he’s not recovering materials and objects to be later reimagined, Nemo spends most of his time in his workshop, which he delightfully named, ‘Trash-ma-hall.’ It’s a space he claims is “objectively awesome.”
Outside of his regular studio work, Nemo is no stranger to hard work. In his long history of working with his hands, Nemo has rebuilt a motorcycle, worked on houses and even helped his parents build the house he grew up in. Reinventing old items in new ways has lead Nemo to develop a multitude of skills. This self-proclaimed machinist utilizes electrical wiring, soldering, woodworking, welding and reverse engineering to make his unusual and thought-provoking builds.
