Growing up in a troubled family in Pennsylvania mining country, Graves relies on three pillars to give him focus, direction, and ultimately salvation: his SEAL brotherhood, his faith, and his wife Lena. Mentally tough, stubborn, and most of all prepared, being a SEAL gives Graves structure and purpose. In Rip, Graves found the role model that he never had growing up and he will continue to risk everything to make him proud.
