Gabriel’s father, Ramon, came to the U.S. when he was 14-years-old. He’s spent his life fascinated with the history of the Seven Cities of Gold and the role his ancestors played in conquering the Aztecs. He gives the family a unique advantage in their quest with not only his field experience, but also his ability to read and decipher ancient Spanish documents. He has also traced the family’s lineage all the way back to Coronado himself.
