Lenny DePaul
As the head of the largest fugitive tracking force in the world, Lenny DePaul has spent over three decades pursuing the most violent criminals, terrorists and drug runners. Last year, he stepped down as Chief Inspector and Commander of the US Marshall Fugitive Task Force, where he oversaw over 380 full time investigators from over 90 Federal, State and Local agencies. Under his watch, the task force averaged over 100 fugitive arrests per week, and answered only to the US Congress.
Before that, DePaul spent five years in the US Navy and another five protecting high value targets for the United States Secret Service. He has always be drawn to the tools and tactics necessary to be a successful man hunter, and lives his life by this Ernest Hemingway quote: “There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter.”
Due to the many successes of his man hunting team, DePaul was often called in to locate notorious fugitives when all other agencies had failed. Whether it was the Boston Bomber or the DC Sniper, DePaul’s ability to uncover the trail of a fugitive is one of the reasons he is one of the most respected man hunters in the world.
